New Students
Beginners are always welcome. Rest assured there is no class for beginners only. The Bikram classes offered at Bikram Yoga Abbotsford and Garrison are for beginners and advanced students alike. If you have never taken a Bikram Yoga class, there are just a few things to keep in mind:
The room is intentionally HOT. It is heated to warm your muscles, prevent injuries, and allow for a deeper workout. Sweating is another benefit, which helps flush toxins from the body.
Men wear athletic shorts, spandex shorts, or a bathing suit. Women wear spandex shorts or leggings and a sports bra or tank top.

Quick Tips
• The studios are warm, so dress like you are going to the beach.
• Don't eat before class (If you are hungry, a small snack like a piece of fruit or a small salad is fine.)
• Be prepared to sweat, sweat, sweat!
• New students, please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
• Bring a big bottle of water, a large towel and a yoga mat (or you can rent one here).
• Come well hydrated, drink plenty of water before class.
